WSU is proud to be a member of several national university associations dedicated to improving the economic impact of research universities. WSU staff and faculty are engaged in activities through participation on these organizations’ committees and boards.
Measuring Impact
As economic demand shifts, expectations of higher education do as well. WSU is involved with the Association of Public Land-Grant Universities’ committee that is dedicated to assisting university leaders plan, assess and communicate their institutions’ work in local and regional economic development. The committee has developed several tools for this purpose, including the Economic Engagement Framework.
